Male Drawing Groups

A list of male figure drawing groups (erotic and non-erotic) from around the U.S and now Canada.  Please check with each venue for latest info and schedule.  (Suggestions, additions or corrections welcome, please comment below).

New York City:
Leslie-Lohman Drawing Studio, every Wednesday 7-10pm, 127-B Prince Street between West Broadway and Wooster.

Gay Men’s Male Figure Drawing Group at the LGBT Community Center, weekly Saturday 10am-1pm, 208 W. 13th Street. Currently being held at SAGE during renovation of the Center (2014-2015).

Men’s Naked Drawing Group NY
A sketch group for naturist/nudist male artists where artists take turns posing for each other. When both the model and the artist are similarly naked, they are on equal footing, encouraging an openness and camaraderie not found in traditional drawing groups. Organized by Shungaboy. Los Angeles:
Tom of Finland Foundation Life Drawing Workshop, monthly usually 2nd or 3rd Sunday, 1-4pm, 1421 Laveta Terrace.

San Francisco:
Gay Men’s Sketch, classical nude modeling for sketchers of all skill levels.  Every Tuesday from 6:30-9:30pm at the Mark I Chester studio, 1229 Folsom St. Open to new sketchers and models.

Hot Draw! – Erotic, sexual, leather, bondage and/or fetish poses.  Open to gay men with a sincere interest.  Once a month, usually on the 4th Thursday, but not always.

Toronto, Canada:
Nude Drawing Group, naturist/nudist group where artists are also naked. It  usually meets on the 4th Thursday of each month (check their event calendar). TNT!MEN, Toronto’s social group for naturist men.

Vancouver, Canada:
P-Can Nude Drawing Group, Pacific-Canadian Association of Nudists, is a male only drawing group where the model AND the artists are naked!

London, UK:
The Vauxhall Gay Life Drawing Group provides artists with the opportunity to draw the nude male figure from direct observation. This weekly life drawing workshop provides gay friendly artists the experience of drawing the male figure in a supportive environment without the restrictions of Adult Education Institutes.

Brighton, UK
Brighton Draws Men, a monthly drawing group featuring male models. The aim is to provide a monthly event for people to draw men of all kinds.
