NYC Drawing the Dance hosts amazing workshops where artists can draw live dancers in motion. Organizer Sangeeta Yesley brings in professional dancers who move/perform/dance in front of the artists while the artists make drawings or paintings of them. There are three thirty-minute segments with short breaks in-between. It’s a rare opportunity for artists to try to capture live movement. I highly recommend it!
Next workshop of draw/paint the dancers (JUNE 3, 2017, 11:30AM-1PM). The featured dance company for this workshop will be the awesome dance company – CoreDance Contemporary. Check out their Facebook Page as well. tickets on EventBrite
